Woodstock Bantam A Co-Operators Slammers travelled to St. Stephen on the weekend to play in the 2015 Rob Gullison Memorial Tournament. Friday night was a big opening game, going to a scoreless game after 3 periods of play with Saint John Flames. Lots of shot on net! Great game to watch! Player of the Game: Quinn Gregoire.
Facing Hampton Huskies Saturday afternoon the team skated to 6-0 victory! Player of Game: Zach Graham. Later that evening with a 3-0 win over St. Stephen the Woodstock Bantam A Co-operator Slammers move on to finals against Saint John. Player of Game: David Marcoux who had three shut outs in a row! Way to go David!
Sunday afternoon the team won their 1st banner of the year. Down 2-0 to WIN 4-2 final vs Saint John Flames. Shorthanded goal in the third sealed the win, even with three on six the last few minutes of play.
A shout out to some of the Woodstock Pee Wee A Elks Slammers who stayed & watched the game! Also to all our parent fans!
